Sky Pastures Farm Highland hides, tanned in Ballarat Victoria, as part of our nose-to-tail philosophy when it comes to growing our own meat. Only one hide is produced each winter. A true heirloom piece that speaks of our immense respect for our animals.

Scottish Highland Cattle Hides

  • Red (Extra Large) (SOLD)

    This hide is from an Scottish Highland steer. It is the largest one we have. Dimensions are 2.2m wide by 2.4m long.

  • Highland x Angus (SOLD)

    This hide is from an Scottish Highland x Angus steer. Dimensions are 1.8m wide by 2.1m long.

    The main colour is dark brown but it has two little white patches on the belly.

  • Yellow (SOLD)

    This hide is from an Scottish Highland cow. Dimensions are 1.8m wide by 1.7m long.

    It has a small bald spot near one of the hips.

    This hide is from an Scottish Highland cow. Unfortunately that year we didn’t have our regular butcher and the hide was nicked in a few places (hence the reduced price). Dimensions are 1.7m x 1.8m
