We consider the historic characteristics of the Highland breed to be preferable - smaller, square framed animals with docile temperaments. We have a critical eye when it comes to registration, and only the best stock will be registered and bred under the Gairloch or Sky Pastures fold names. Animals with undesirable traits remain unregistered, and will become commercial stock. Our Gairloch fold have Fully Imported Bloodlines, which can be traced back to the Scottish Herdbook, whilst Sky Pastures fold are graded animals. Meet some of our favourites below.
